Dean Barnett, 1967-2008

Oct 28th, 2008 | Filed under Blogging, Life

I never met Dean Barnett.  He was part of a community of bloggers I read and came to know from an outside perspective.  He died yesterday, of cystic fibrosis, and is already missed.  Living 41 years, Mr. Barnett beat the odds for cystic fibrosis patients.  By all accounts, and his writing supports this, he did so with cheer, grace, and dignity.  He was beloved by many people who knew him fleetingly, and by those who knew him well.

Here is my favorite Dean Barnett post.  Pro-Life in a Brave New World It is both one of the saddest and most inspiring things I have read.

God bless Dean and his family.
